Alex has worked as a real estate consultant for the past 12 years. In 2012 Alex started as a portfolio manager of the Engle Family portfolio. Then in 2017 Alex transitioned into acquisitions for The Engle Family Office. She conducted all of the pre purchase property sight visits and potential purchase pro-forma evaluations and continued to be the portfolio manager. In 2020 Alex began handling the 1031 exchanges as well as new equity purchases for the Engle Family Office as well as some additional business partners. Alex is often personally invested opportunities she recommends to her clients. Alex helped establish the Engle Family Office Investing Group in 2020. Alex has a relationship with sponsor partners all over the United States as well as is constantly cultivating new investment partnerships for potential clients. In 2022 Alex was responsible for the Engle Family Office placing 42 million dollars of equity and completing transactions for the purchase of real estate that had a total value of over 500 million.
Alex Rains has a Bachelor of Science in Business from University San Francisco. Upon Graduation Alex worked in Film Production Finance and Production for Major Film Studios for 9 years. Alex took a pause in her career to focus on her family and raise her three children. During that time she was an active volunteer for assorted charities, was the president of PTA's at two schools, was on the Rose-Bowl Aquatics Dive Team board and was on the Temple Israel of Hollywood board.
